1. About SpecReady

SpecReady is a trading name of [entity pending registration], operating from New South Wales, Australia. These Terms govern your use of this website and any purchase you make through it. By accessing the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

2. Products & pricing

Prices are shown in Australian Dollars (AUD). Prices displayed as "ex GST" exclude the 10% Goods and Services Tax. "inc GST" prices include GST. The GST-inclusive total is shown at checkout.

We aim to keep product information, images and pricing accurate. We reserve the right to correct errors and to decline orders placed at a price that is clearly incorrect.

3. Orders & acceptance

Your order is an offer to purchase. We accept the order when we send an order confirmation email with shipment details. We may decline orders for any reason, including stock availability, freight restrictions, or suspected fraud.

4. Compliance disclaimer

SpecReady supplies products manufactured to Australian Standards. Where we publish standards references (e.g. AS/NZS 1428.4.1:2009, AS 1428.1:2021) and National Construction Code references (NCC 2022), these refer to the product as supplied. Final compliance of any installation depends on many site-specific factors including substrate, mounting, cleaning, and the combined performance of multiple products in the system.

4.1 Luminance contrast

AS 1428.1:2021 requires minimum luminance contrast between accessibility products and installed substrates. Luminance contrast depends on the substrate finish. Customers are responsible for substrate selection and verification of contrast on site.

4.2 Slip resistance

Published slip ratings reflect laboratory testing under AS 4586. Real-world slip performance depends on cleaning, wear, and installation quality. For installations requiring certified in-service slip performance, site-specific testing under AS 4663 is recommended.

4.3 Installation

Our products include installation guides. Customers are responsible for correct installation in accordance with those guides and the applicable standards (including NCC 2022 Specification 15 for signage mounting). Installation outside those guides may void product warranty and may not achieve compliance.

4.4 Not legal advice

Information on this site is supplied in good faith and for guidance only. It does not constitute legal advice, building certification, or professional accessibility consulting. Project compliance should be verified by a qualified building surveyor or certifier.

5. Shipping & returns

5.1 Shipping

Freight is quoted at checkout based on product, weight, and delivery postcode. Bulky items (including stainless steel plates) are quoted separately. We aim to dispatch in-stock items within 1–3 business days. Sydney metro same-day courier is available on select items ordered before 10am AEST.

5.2 Returns

You may return unopened, unused, stock products within 14 days of delivery for a refund, less the cost of return freight. Custom-made, cut-to-length and special-order products are non-returnable except where defective.

5.3 Defective products

If a product arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos. We will arrange replacement or refund in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

6. Warranty

Products are covered by manufacturer warranty as described on each product page. This does not limit the non-excludable rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpecReady's total liability in connection with any product or service is limited to the purchase price of the product or service concerned.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this site (including text, images, and product documentation) is the intellectual property of SpecReady or its suppliers. You may download content for genuine project use but may not reproduce it for commercial purposes without written permission.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
